Beautiful destinations in Morocco at low prices from Brussels
The Al Hoceima Airport, better known as the Charif Al Idrissi Airport (AHU), is a rather small airport. Not a lot of information can be found under either name. However, due to presence of a Club Med in Al Hoceima, there are a variety of airfare specials for passengers traveling to Morocco, and because the airport is small, it has the ability to offer some of the cheapest airfares in all of Al Hoceima and Morocco itself. Al Hoceima is a port city, located in the northern most region of Morocco. Furthermore, it is situated right in the center of the Rif Mountains, which further increases its popularity among visitors, vacationers, and tourists. As of 2004, almost four hundred thousand people lived in the city region of Al Hoceima. The city is the capital of the Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate area, centrally located within the Bucoya tribe of the Rif’s territory, where members speak Tamazight. Some of the airlines which operate out of the Al Hoceima/Charif Al Idrissi Airport are: Air France, Air Toulouse International, Euralair International, Royal Air Maroc, and TAROM-Romanian. Thanks to these airlines, the Al Hoceima Airport is able to offer flights to destinations all over Europe, generally with airfare specials which often offer the cheapest airfares to passengers traveling to and from Al Hoceima. The Al Hoceima Airport has a wealth of cargo facilities as well. Among them include a foreign trade zone and free port, a bonded warehouse, air conditioned storage, refrigerated and deep freeze storage, animal quarantine, a mortuary, x-ray equipment, and security for valuable items. There is a wide array of passenger facilities in the airport as well. On average, the Al Hoceima Airport enjoys a yearly capacity of about one hundred thousand passengers. There are two different check in desks, two gates, a post office, a bank, a bureau de change, restaurants, cafes, a VIP lounge, a newsstand, a tobacconist, a gift shop, and a first aid station.
