When you think of beaches it hardly comes to your mind England, but for the locals, especially those from the working class, Blackpool comes as an interesting choice to spend their holidays. And the best of it is that you have low cost airlines going into town like RyanAir, so you can get the both the cheap airfare in a cheap airline, that way you don´t need to look too much for discount airfares. A fun curiosity about the city is that it was the first municipality in the World back in 1879 to have electric street lightening, mainly on some parts of the promenade. This achievement is celebrated each Autumn in an event called very originally as “The Lights”. And being a coastal city it is expected to have some night fun to go around, and it does, a lot. The trouble here is deciding where to go since the options are plenty.
