Venice, which is built on 118 small islands and traversed by something like 100 canals, spanned by almost 400 bridges, is mostly stone-built. Flights from Venice's airport Marco Polo goes to all the continents. Dubai, New York, Madrid, Amsterdam is some of the famous destinations from this airport. Santa Maria dell'Orto, which is a known church, is a must visit for tourists.
