Kiev (Zhuliany) International Airport (IEV) is one of the two International airports located within the city of Kiev, capital of Ukraine. Located in the Zhuliany neighborhood in the south of the city this airport handles scheduled flights from Major European and western destination. Serving as junction to airlines like Air Urga, City Star Airlines, Luganks Airlines, etc it handles majority of passengers who come to Ukraine for vacation or business purposes. Though it handles international flights but it is not considered as the major airport in the Ukraine. In the 1960s the larger Boryspil International Airport was built near the city of Boryspil which is known as major airport of Ukraine and handles more than 50% of air traffic movement in Ukraine. During Soviet Period only few domestic flight were allowed to land in this airport but later after independence, this airport was promoted as an international airport. The Kiev International airport has a capacity of over 1 million passengers per year and has all the modern day facilities available within its vicinity. Cafeterias, money exchange, Banks, ATM, medical facilities, etc all are available within the airport. Transportation is not an issue for this airport as it is firmly situated within the area of city and every kind of public transport runs though out the day serving all airline passengers. One can find cheap fares and information on airline flights through the hotels or travel agents situated near the airport. Airline travel to this airport is quiet easy as many renowned airlines have their daily flights to the airport.
