Located in the Saint Gilles village in southern France, the Nîmes Arles Camargue airport is a 12 kilometer drive from the city of Nimes in the southern direction. It also goes by the name of Aéroport de Nîmes-Arles-Camargue or even at times Garons Airport and is coded by the International Air Transport Association as FNI and by the International Civil Aviation Organization as LFTW. Operated by the La Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie (CCI) de Nîmes, the airport provides flying services for the Provence region and is also functioning military purposes as a Naval air base. With an elevation above mean sea level of 94 meters, the airport has a single runway with a concrete surface that runs for 2440 meters.
