Air Lithuania heeft met ingang van vandaag alle vluchten stilgelegd in verband met financiele problemen.
In een persbericht op hun website staat:
"Due to the debts, Eurocontrol company suspended supply of air navigation services. Some other suppliers stopped providing their services to Air Lithuania as well. Due to the fact that creditors were supplying strategically important services, the activity of air company was paralyzed. The management of Air Lithuania reports that receiving no services from Eurocontrol, the company has no possibility to continue the operation. Starting the 23rd of November, 2005, Air Lithuania discontinues operating the scheduled services.
